My hometown food
Flija - it's my special one, its a layered pie with yoghurt filling.
Hajvar - Paprika paste.
Pleskavica - Meat patties of beef and lamb.
Flija is eaten with cheese or jam.Flija is typically made in the summer time.
Hajvar is made from red bell peppers with eggplant and chili pepper.Depending on the content in bell peppers and the amount of added chili peppers, it can be sweet, piquant ( the common one ) or very hot.
Pleskavica is made of beef usually, very spicy and served with onions and it's also stuffed with kashkavall.
